“My dog means everything to me! I need an expert who can help us.”
If you’ve been having difficulty managing your dog and feeling frustrated, things seem to be getting worse, and maybe you’ve even tried other trainers without success, then you’ve come to the right place.
With over 28 years of canine behavior training experience, including the use of current best practices, and a deep understanding of what you’re going through, I can help you turn things around. Allow me to show you how I use the latest in canine neuroscience research to benefit you and your dog.
Here’s how I can help

Behavior Assessment
A comprehensive behavior assessment is the first step to identify and discuss your concerns. I will identify the areas needing improvement and establish a detailed training plan to move forward. This may be done at your home or my training center.

Private
Sessions
After our first session where we conducted a behavior assessment, we move on to one-on-one sessions. These can be in the privacy of your home, at my training center, or in public venues based on what will best achieve our training plan goals. Each session is specifically tailored to you and your dog’s needs.

Group
Sessions
Group training sessions may be held at my training building or a public venue. These sessions have you working on specific tasks around other dogs that are designed to build resilience, enhance your dog's cognition and stregthen your confidence in your ability to work with your dog.

As a state police canine handler, I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact of dogs when we tracked lost children or family members suffering from Alzheimer’s. My canine partners and I went into harm's way for the safety of others. I had the opportunity to be a part of a community of handlers who selflessly gave everything to those in need.
I have attended seminars on canine neuroscience and learning. I am currently attending a course on ADD and ADHD in dogs and how to implement behavioral modification strategies. This is one of many reasons why I have people work with me from all over the northeast, including those who have decades of experience training dogs.
As a service dog trainer, I teach dogs to assist with life-changing services. For example, I trained a dog to detect walnuts for a child to help prevent them from suffering a severe hypoallergenic and respiratory response that required immediate overnight emergency medical care. I teach dogs to respond to their owner's needs during anxiety and PTSD events.
Working at a State University that has a one of a kind canine degree program, I study and implement the latest scientific research. I use this research and my experience to guide my approach to behavior cases for the best outcomes. I am currently involved in unique research at the University, training dogs to detect invasive species of fish in creeks.
As an instructor teaching everyone from police officers, college students, experienced dog trainers or everyday dog owners, I take pride in having dogs perform at their best no matter what the situation or need.
